Almond Shortbread Cookies

1 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 lb. almonds - chopped fine
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter & sugar, mix in other ingredients. Bake at 350 for 12-14 min. Cool for one minute, then roll each cookie in powdered sugar.
